Sharing my journey as a complete beginner

For many years I have envied women on social media. I wished for their confidence, lifestyle and financial success. But most importantly, I dreamt of being able say “Yes”. Yes to things I wanted, not just the things that I could afford. After becoming an empty nester, I decided that it’s finally time to stop wishing and start DOING! I’m beginning my journey and I’m sharing it openly with you in hopes of inspiring you to do the same!

In my desperation to find fulfillment, I’ve considered many side hustles. Regardless of how much research I did, I still struggled to find an opportunity that would bring me joy and extra income. Every idea would get me excited for a few weeks and then self doubt would kick in. Every time I quit I was left feeling more defeated than before.

This time, I decided to try something different. Instead of working in silence, I opened my social media and started sharing. In the past 90 days I have allowed myself to be vulnerable and put myself out there as a beginner. I have posted my goals and dreams with a shaky voice and a lot of insecurities. However, I have received an abundance of support. Thanks to the support, my confidence is slowly starting to improve. Being authentic has also lead to many meaningful conversations with woman who are also struggling and looking for a way off the hamster wheel.

Starting my journey with a plan

bridge, park, outside, walk, path, journey, landscape, nature, travel, outdoors, tree, scenic, tourism, lake, river, pond, garden, bridge, bridge, park, outside, outside, outside, journey, journey, garden, garden, garden, garden, garden

I have so many goals that I want to accomplish but in order to be successful on this journey, I had to narrow them down. As an Independent Consultant for Arbonne, my first goal is to grow my business. My second goal is to grow this blog. I have always loved to write and I know that this will allow me to share my light with the world. My dream is to inspire women to make themselves a priority, overcome self doubt and take a chance on their dreams. Many of us are surrounded by negativity but this blog will provide you with a safe space to connect with like minded women. As a collective, we can help each other achieve our dream life!

Sharing more than just my journey.

By sharing my journey as a beginner, I hope this makes me relatable. I will be sharing the good, bad and my feelings throughout the process. This is just the beginning of my journey, and I’m excited to keep sharing with you.
